Serene Funerals was founded by a Mackay local, Carol Phillips. With over 35 years’ directing memorial services and planning dignified and respectful funerals, Carol takes great care to help families through their difficult time.
Carol started working in the industry at Mackay Funerals, where she gained valuable experience. She also learned that the people of Mackay recognise the importance of their traditional values, many of which are incorporated in their funerals.
After partnering with Brian, Carol was able to create Serene Funerals, a specialised service not only dedicated to providing a customised funeral but also helping their clients through the grieving process. Unlike many funeral services, Carol and Brian feel responsible for the locals of Mackay, experiencing genuine empathy for their loss. This level of care motivates them to assist their clients in any way they need. Nothing is too much to ask.
